A weekly parent connection e-mail is sent to parents of students in grades 5-12.  If you do not currently receive the weekly connection e-mail, please send an e-mail to Stephanie Lechman using the form below and ask to be added to the e-mail list. It's a great way to stay connected on a weekly basis!  Other important updates will be e-mailed as needed.

Student Ministry

Ministry to youth in grades 5-12

Through our ministries we desire to meet students where they are in their relationship with Christ and walk alongside them in their journey of faith.  We strive to equip students and to help them to mature in their faith so they will be prepared to live for Christ.  We are foused on:

  • Keeping Christ at the center (Colossians 1:15-20, John 14:6)
  • Making disciples (Matthew 28:19, Ephesians 4:12)
  • Prayer (1 Thessalonians 5:17, John 14:13-14, Ephesians 6:18)
  • Outreach (Matthew 28:19, Romans 10:14-15, Matthew 9:35-38)
  • Real, authentic relationships (2 Corinthians 5:14-17, 1 Thessalonians 2:8, John 13:34-35)
  • Developing a servant heart (Mark 10:43-45, Philippians 2:3-5)

Twice each month middle school and high school students will meet together.  One night a month we will gather for a service project.  Some of our projects include: assembling care packages for college students, making cards for some of our homebound members, collecting food for the Food Shelf, church projects and more!  We also spend one night a month focused on fellowship with one another.

The remaining two Wednesdays, middle school and high school students meet separately for Bible study and discussion. See the youth group schedule for weekly themes.  Additional information about topics covered in youth group is included in the Parent Connection E-mail.  Students are always welcome to invite friends to youth group.

Homework and Hangout, Family Dinners and Youth Group meets September - May (following the Amery School District Calendar).  We will still gather in the summer but we typically follow a different schedule.
