Year At A Glance
Our church has activities all year long, check out below to see what some of our annual activities and which ones you'd enjoy! Even if you aren't a member of our church many of these are open to our community.
Church Dinners
The first Friday of Lent each year we do a Walleye Dinner & in the fall we do our Chicken Gravy over Biscuit Dinner! It's a delicious way to come together as a congregation and bring the community together.
Lenten & Easter Services
Each year we spend the Lenten season learning more & digging deeper, our studies change year-to-year but we offer this opportunity for adults and youth both. Our Easter Sunday has a breakfast before service and our regular 10am service is filled with special youth pieces and additional music.
Dinner Theater
One of our main fundraisers for our annual mission trip (read more below) is putting on a dinner theater. Each year we have a different play and a new meal.
Mission Trip
Our church has been partnering with Habitat for Humanity affiliates for over 20 years to do service throughout the Midwest. We go for one week each summer (normally in June) and take along anyone who is interested over the age of sixteen. Our goals are to build up the community we are serving, build up one another, build our faith, and if we build a house along the way, all the better. Meetings are the second Sundays of each month Sept-June at 8:30am.
Women's Fellowship
Throughout the year we put on a variety of women's fellowship events. From craft nights, women's day retreats, and our annual Christmas Cookie Exchange & Party
Prayer Walks
& Events
A fairly new addition with our Pastor Dana Caldwell has been a larger focus on prayer. We do prayer walks when the weather allows. Each time may be a different focus, such as praying over our schools, praying for our community, etc. We also pray in the new year, this can be done together or using directives shared.
All-Ages Outings
Aimed for families, but fun for all, our church does outings or activities monthly for all-ages. Some of these include movie nights, baseball game outings, days at local parks, fall hayrides, board game nights, and more! We are also always looking for new ideas to add to this list!
Advent & Christmas
We celebrate advent from our Hanging of the Greens service (the Sunday following Thanksgiving) through Christmas. We have a children's Christmas program the second Sunday of December each year and our candlelight Christmas Eve service at 9pm Christmas Eve.
