Abby was born and raised in Amery. She found Christ at a young age and continues to grow her faith. She graduated Amery High School in 2013 and then went to UW-River Falls where she completed a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Marketing Communications in 2017. During her college years and beyond she connected with the youth at Amery Congregational as a volunteer. When our previous youth director stepped down she stepped into the role of youth director until taking a new job, she now is our lead youth volunteer serving on the Christian Education Committee. She enjoys making a positive difference in these students' lives. Abby is married to her high school sweetheart, Alek. She enjoys traveling, photography, spending time with family and friends, and being active with our church mission trip.

Job Title: Office Manager
Ideal Hours, but flexible: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (20 hours/week)

Position Overview:
The Office Manager plays a vital role in the life of the church by providing organizational, administrative, and communication support. This individual will serve as the face and voice of the church, ensuring a welcoming, caring, and professional presence for members, guests, and community contacts. The Office Manager will work independently while keeping church leadership informed and aligned with church goals.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the church office.

· Manage phone calls, emails, mail, and in-person inquiries with warmth and professionalism.

· Maintain accurate records, schedules, and files to support church programs and leadership.

· Assist in coordinating church communications, including bulletins, newsletters, and announcements.

· Serve as a point of contact between leadership, and congregation.

· Ensure the office environment is organized, efficient, and welcoming.

· Spot needs proactively and take initiative to address them.

·Support church leadership with administrative tasks and project coordination.

·Manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.

·Use office software and tools with confidence (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or similar programs).

Qualifications:

·Strong organizational and leadership skills.

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·Ability to work independently with church goals in mind.

·Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·Friendly, approachable, caring, and genuine personality.

·Positive and proactive attitude with a heart for service.

·Comfortable with technology and office software programs.

·Prior experience in office management or administrative support preferred.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and dependable professional who can juggle multiple responsibilities with grace. They will represent the church in a warm and approachable manner, while ensuring that office operations run smoothly and leadership is well-supported
